We are selling 30 per half hour, please show up early in your time frame to make sure you get your run, we will cut each time frame off on time. They must be prepaid before you enter the arena. Each time only is limited to 60 seconds, you will get a 15 second warning. 

Class Details: 
PeeWee Rider: 8 years old or younger as of January 1, 2026, and can run the pattern alone 
Leadline Rider: 8 years old or younger as of January 1, 2026, and runs the pattern with a helper 
Youth Rider: per NBHA Rules, 12 years old or under as of January 1, 2026 
Teen Rider: per NBHA Rules, 13-18 years old as of January 1, 2026 
Midlife Rider: Sidepot only, 19-49 years of age as of January 1, 2026 
Senior Rider: per NBHA rules, 50 years or older as of January 1, 2026 
Novice Rider: Rider cannot have won over $200 in barrel racing competitions. 
Green Horse: Horse cannot have won over $200 in barrel racing earnings.

All current NBHA CA D12 members at the time of race are eligible to earn year end points. No awards buy-in required but to be eligible for year-end awards riders must participate in at least 4 races. Points for year-end awards will be given 10-1 with the fastest time set by the fastest current NBHA CA D12 member. Entries OPEN the Monday prior to race date online at SaddleBook.com, no paper entries, online entries only.

Draw selections allowed (early, late, do not draw). First (pre-draw) will be done Tuesday at noon! After that time the “draw selection” preferences will go away, so if you NEED to be early or late, please enter PRIOR to noon, day of race.

Time onlys will be online ONLY, no “pay at the gate”. Limited to 2 runs per horse entered (this should allow time for all).

Office will be open from 5-6pm and will close promptly at 6pm.

Payments must be made at office by 6pm, no exceptions. Any entries NOT paid by 6pm will have to pay via credit/debit card and 5% fee applies.

Payouts will be in CHECK form and will be MAILED to you, they will go out in Wednesday’s mail from San Francisco to your address on your profile at SaddleBook.com

We are working hard to make these week nights work for our racers, with that being said there are some different rules and procedures so that we can run these week night races, some office staff will be working remotely and some office STAFF would like to compete….thank you!

Ribbon Race Rules: 
 A piece of crepe paper is held between two riders as they cross the timing line, run to the pole, circle it in either direction and return to the timing line, still retaining their hold on the ribbon without breaking it or letting go of it. 
Special penalties: The team shall be disqualified for dropping either end of the ribbon while on course, breaking the ribbon while on course, or holding or locking hands while on course.
